buy it: metamorph
A part of me is really into victorian fashion with a gothic, dark twist. Think spats, fingerless gloves, leather, lace, feathers, studs... you get the idea. I tend to wind up on etsy when I'm looking for unusual accessories or anything really over the top. I was searching for a feather collar and came across Metamorph-- a shop full of handmade gothic fabulousness. I'm especially in love with this feather shrug, that can be worn like wings, in a criss-cross harness style, or as a collar:
This lace cameo collar and black ruffle collar would send any basic dress over the top. Talk about statement pieces:
If you're looking for a subtler edge, a pair of spats or lace gloves will do the trick:

buy it: man-cans
Thirteen-year-old Hart Main doesn't like girly-scented candles. With the help of his mum (and $100 of his savings he earned from his newspaper route), he has started his own business, making and selling candles for dudes. Sure it's been done, but not with aw-inducing scents like New Mitt and Grandpa's Pipe. Adorbs. He calls them Man-Cans and sells 'em for $9.50 apiece. They're mixed and poured by hand into recycled soup cans.
I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and love hearing stories like this about kids turning small ideas into huge successes! Think I'll get my dad a man-can or two for Father's Day.
buy it: iron fist shoes
I was getting my makeup done for a photoshoot at my friend's studio and Jessica kept telling me to "look up". I had only just met her 5 minutes before, and she was already frustrated with me. Weilding an arsenal of brushes, powders, glosses and sparkles that any sephora fan would die for, I was stuck on her shoes. After pulling my chin up for the third time, I finally spoke up- "Where did you get those shoes?!" She kicked one off and pushed it towards my bare foot. "They're by Iron Fist." Um... want!
Jessica's shoes- the Oh No Platform Pump - $45
Limited Edition Moonshine Zombie Stomper (they glow in the dark!!) - $45
Bloody Mess Platform - $50
Sugar Witch Platform - $45
Muerte Punk Platform - $45
Their shoes are like graffiti for your feet... I love them! And they're super affordable- I'm so getting a pair (or three).
